As tablet manufacturer's release new editions of their device each year, it can be hard to determine which RAM® cradle is compatible with your new (or old) device.
Unlike Apple, who add a number to their new editions (ie. Apple iPad mini 5; Apple iPad Air 2; etc), Samsung has a habit of keeping the same name for their devices, even as new editions are released - and even when their physical dimensions change. For this reason, it's paramount to know which year your Samsung device was released.
Below are the different dimensions for the last several editions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8":
SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A 8.0" (2015 - 2019)

RAM® manufactures a large range of cradles to accommodate the many different makes and models of tablet devices in the world. To assist with purchasing the correct cradle for your device, each product page at modestmounts.com.au displays the compatible devices for a particular RAM® cradle or holder.
(see example below, taken from the RAM-HOL-TAB27U)

If your device isn't listed, each product page also lists Cradle Dimensions where any tablet that falls within these parameters is deemed compatible with that cradle. (see example below, taken from the RAM-HOL-TAB27U)

It is important to verify the dimensions of your tablet when determining the overall size.
