A tool-free small Tough-Claw base, medium C-size socket arm and round adapter plate for a compatible plate-backed phone or tablet holder. Two 1.5-inch ball joints allow adjustment at the base and holder ends.

Supplied as genuine RAM components matching the official RAM-202-400 configuration. Packaging may vary. Device holder and device are sold separately.

Help

The Tough-Claw tightens and releases by hand. Check that the rail and clamping position are strong enough for the full mount, holder and device. Secure the round plate to the selected holder with its specified screws and nuts; use the holder-supplied hardware where provided. Holder attachment hardware is not listed as a separate included item in this bundle.

Assess the full holder, case and device load, mounting surface, reach and vibration against the rating. Check all joints and fasteners before use.

Compatibility

Choose a plate-backed holder that accepts the supplied four-hole AMPS pattern, then check its device and case dimensions. The supplied round plate is bolted to the holder before its C-size ball fits into the arm. An integrated 1-inch B-size ball does not fit this 1.5-inch C-size arm.
