The RAM-202U is part of the RAM Mounts 1.5" ball system and consists of a 1.5" diameter ball attached to a flat 2.5" base.
The base has pre-drilled holes in it, including the universal AMPS hole pattern that will allow you to connect a range of compatible (C size) RAM components (sold separately) using a ball and socket connection.
