The RAM-101U-247-4 provides an adjustable AMPS mounting point to a square post without drilling the post. The two clamp plates tighten around the post using the supplied nuts and bolts; the medium C size arm carries the round holder-side plate.

RAM’s rubber ball-and-socket system provides adjustment at both ends of the arm and helps dampen shock and vibration.

A compatible holder or dock is sold separately. The supplied holder-side round plate presents the 4-hole AMPS (30 x 38mm) pattern for a matching flat-backed holder or dock. A holder with its own compatible 1.5" C size ball can attach directly to the arm instead, without the upper plate.

Match the holder’s connection and ball size before choosing the setup.

The 4" limit is the square post’s maximum width, not a round-rail diameter. Check both post dimensions, bolt reach and surrounding clearance.

Include the holder, device and attached accessories when checking the load. Choose the heavy-duty rating for more demanding conditions and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
