RAM Long Dual Suction Round Plate Bundle (MM-B-DUALSUCTION-LONG-ROUND)

• 1 × RAM Long Socket Arm Two Round Bases B (RAM-B-101U-C): arm plus two RAM-B-202U round ball plates

A fixed dual-suction platform with a long B-size arm and two round ball plates for extra positioning reach. One plate provides the lower ball connection on the ball-less suction platform, and the other connects to a compatible holder.

Choose a compatible device holder or cradle separately. The holder and device are not included.

Specifications

• Ball size: B size, 1 inch (25.4 mm).
• Fixed suction platform: two 3.3-inch (83.8 mm) cups; total width 7.95 inches (201.9 mm).
• RAM-B-189BU is supplied without a ball; this bundle uses one of the two RAM-B-202U plates included in RAM-B-101U-C as the lower ball connection.
• Long arm: 6 inches (152.4 mm) overall; 5.31 inches (134.9 mm) socket-to-socket.
• RAM-B-101U-C arm-and-two-plate assembly: 7.3125 inches (185.7 mm) overall height before fitting it to the suction platform.
• Both round plates: 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) diameter; four-hole AMPS 1.181 × 1.496 inches (30 × 38 mm), plus three-hole 120-degree pattern on a 1.812-inch (46 mm) circle.
• Platform materials: powder-coated steel and high-strength composite. Arm and round plates: marine-grade aluminium.
• RAM-B-189BU includes assembly hardware, four #8-32 × 1/2-inch machine screws and four #8-32 thin Nyloc nuts.
• RAM’s published B-size component ratings: up to 2 lb (0.91 kg) for standard use and 1 lb (0.45 kg) for heavy-duty use. Mounting surface, leverage, vibration and the full holder-and-device load must also be assessed.
• Packaging may vary; all listed components are genuine RAM.
• Warranty: RAM’s limited lifetime warranty is subject to its terms; suction-cup rubber is a wear item and is excluded. This component bundle does not extend that warranty to a device, vehicle or installation.

Help

Both suction cups need one clean, smooth, flat, non-porous mounting area. Confirm lower-plate attachment, screw engagement and clearance before use. The longer arm increases leverage on the suction platform, so assess the complete holder-and-device load and its movement. Two suction cups do not increase the B-size component load rating.

Check the selected holder’s hole pattern, thread and required screw length before assembly.

Compatibility

The supplied output is a four-hole AMPS plate with a B-size ball. Use it with a flat-backed holder that accepts this pattern and suitable fasteners. A holder with an integrated 1-inch B-size ball can fit directly into the arm instead of the supplied upper plate. A C-size ball requires a matching C-size arm.
