The RAM-B-166U allows you to mount your compatible RAM Cradle/Holder onto a suction-compatible surface. Featuring a standard length double socket arm, a 3.25" suction cup twist-lock base, and a round base adapter, this setup will compliment your Phone, GPS, Small Tablet cradle - and more!
The RAM-B-166-202U is designed with a RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; thus allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
The suction cup base is designed to have a strong hold on glass and non-porous plastic surfaces, including RAM adhesive disks.
The hole pattern found on the round base adapter conforms to the industry standard AMPS pattern and will connect to most RAM cradles and 3rd party cradles.
Note: This kit does NOT include a RAM cradle, this will need to be purchased separately, depending on what device you have.
The "U" in the part number reflects product packaged in poly bag. This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

Stuck to the curved fibreglass window of the glider like glue. Worked very well! I’m happy with the ability to easily adjust the orientation of the mount!
I used a RAM suction cup mount to temporarily mount a navigation tablet onto the canopy in a glider. As space is limited in a glider the suction cup and the 2 universal joints enabled the tablet to be adjusted perfectly so as to not obstruct the controls or the view from the cockpit. When removed there was no evidence it had ever been there. A great product.
Well engineered products, the ball n socket setup just works. I use this with my tablet cradle and it absorbs all vibration in the car. Top notch.
Opted for the longer arm than what came with the normal phone suction mount and I'm glad I did. My windscreen is quite far/deep into my dash. Buying this and the UN7BU holder separately ended up cheap still, plus now I have a spare round base adapter which can attach to tablet cradles.
