AustraliaPurchased this as replacement as old mount was failing. Ram is quality gear in my experience, but in hot Australian sun after several years the rubber is eventually going to deteriorate and start failing. Not complete failure of the old mount, it would still stick, but then fall off in hot weather. New mount is holding strong on the hottest of days with no problem, if it too starts to lose its grip in a few years, then I hope ram are still in production and I will replace the base cup again, as rest of the system is still 100%. I love that can replace individual components and that I don't have to send the rest of the mount system to landfill.
