RAM Quick Release 18" Wheelchair Arm Extension (RAM-B-114P-18-201U)

The RAM-B-114P-18-201U combines an 18" rigid, formable aluminium rod, a lower spline-post adapter and a medium B size socket arm. Pre-shape the rod for the required position, then use the ball-and-socket adjustment to set the viewing angle. The quick-release post lets you insert or remove the extension from the compatible wheelchair base as needed.

Base, holder, device and wheelchair are excluded. The lower spline post fits the separately sold RAP-AAPR-WCT wheelchair-base receiver. The open upper B size socket accepts a holder with its own 1" ball. For a flat-backed holder, select a separate B size ball plate that matches its mounting holes.

Help

The 18" measurement is the rod length, not the complete installed mount height. Follow the manufacturer’s forming and fitting guidance. Check clearance for controls and movement, and include the device, holder and adapters when assessing load. RAM describes a loosenable rod-clevis swivel option when installed on a suitable seat track.
