Overview

The RAM-GDS-SKIN-SAM90-NG combines tablet protection with a GDS docking connection. Its moulded connector routes the tablet’s USB-C connection to flat, cleanable contacts at the bottom of the sleeve.

For a Uni-Conn setup, fit the separate RAM-GDS-U1U standard adapter and pair it with the U4 release-button charging dock. The adapter provides mechanical retention; the sleeve’s bottom contacts carry power. Tablet, S Pen, adapter, dock, power supply and mounting components are sold separately.

Compatibility

• Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5, 8-inch (2024): SM-X300 Wi-Fi and SM-X306B 5G model families. Regional suffixes vary.
• Not for Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro. Do not assume a Tab Active3 case fit.

Use a bottom-contact U4 dock with the U1U adapter. This Next Gen sleeve does not provide rear-pogo charging through a U5 dock. For a USB-A peripheral, choose the U4CDU data dock and verify the peripheral’s tablet support. A suitable power source and mount are required separately.
