Overview

The RAM-GDS-DOCK-U5CPU keeps a compatible rear-pogo IntelliSkin tablet ready to remove and replace throughout the day. Seat the case in the lower part of the dock and press it into the snap-in holder. Press the release button to remove the tablet.

Charging passes through the rear contacts, so you can dock the protected device without reconnecting a cable to the tablet each time. The matching TCB Thin-Case has its Uni-Conn adapter built in. The case, power supply and complete mounting system are sold separately.

Choose a power supply to suit your device and vehicle voltage. For plug-in power, use the 30W USB-C vehicle charger and a USB-C male-to-male cable. For hardwired power up to 45W, choose 10–30V RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V3C-3U or 30–64V RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V3CH-2U; both include the USB-C output lead. Charging is limited by the device, case and power supply.

Choose a compatible 2-hole AMPS RAM ball adapter, matching arm and application-specific base for the device weight and installation.

• Choose the exact-device rear-pogo Thin-Case, such as Galaxy Tab A9+ (RAM-GDS-SKIN-SAM88-TCB), Galaxy Tab Active5 / Active3 (RAM-GDS-SKIN-SAM93-TCB) or iPad mini 6 (RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP36-TCB). For iPad 10th Gen or iPad (A16), use RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP40-TCB.
• TCB rear-pogo cases connect through their integrated Uni-Conn adapter. A separate RAM-GDS-U1U or RAM-GDS-U1AU is not required for this case-and-dock combination.
• Bottom-contact Next Gen and TCD cases use a different charging contact arrangement. Select a matching U4-family dock for those cases.
• This snap-in dock is not recommended for open-cockpit applications such as forklifts. Contact us about a suitable GDS Tough-Dock for those installations.
