OVERVIEW

The RAM® Powered Dock & Dashboard Mount for Samsung Tab Active5 Pro & 4 Pro (RAM-101-225B2-SAM52CP-V7CU) is a complete powered drill-down tablet mounting system for Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, Tab Active4 Pro and Tab Active Pro.

The RAM^® EZ-Roll'r^™ form-fit dock uses integrated pogo pins to supply power to the tablet while docked. The spring-loaded design allows quick insertion and removal while keeping the device's speakers, microphones and headphone jack accessible. The dock is compatible with both the Samsung OEM protective skin and RAM^® Skin^™.

The included mounting hardware uses the RAM^® C Size 1.5" ball and socket system, with a short double socket arm and drill-down backing-plate mounting system. This provides a secure installation with substantial adjustability for positioning the tablet.

The included GDS^® Modular hardwire charger connects directly to a 10-30VDC vehicle power source and supplies non-Power Delivery USB-C power to the dock.

Important: This powered dock is not compatible with Power Delivery chargers. The dock is intended for light-duty applications in landscape orientation. No Battery Mode is not supported on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro or Tab Active4 Pro while using this dock.

Does this dock support Power Delivery charging?
No. The pogo-pin charging system does not support Power Delivery. The included GDS® hardwire charger provides the non-PD power required by the dock.

Does this mount support No Battery Mode?
No. No Battery Mode requires direct access to the tablet's USB-C port. This dock powers the Tab Active5 Pro and Tab Active4 Pro through the side pogo-pin contacts instead.

Can I use the tablet in portrait orientation?
RAM specifies this powered dock for light-duty use in landscape orientation. For heavy-duty applications or portrait use, a locking dock option should be considered.

Can I use the Samsung factory protective case?
Yes. The dock is compatible with the Samsung OEM protective skin as well as the RAM® Skin™.

Is the hardwire charger included?
Yes. This complete mounting kit includes the GDS® Modular 10-30V hardwire charger for permanent vehicle installation.

Charging issue?
Inspect and clean the tablet's pogo contact pads before replacing dock or charging components. The RAM® cleaning guide above provides maintenance guidance for the contact surfaces.
