Swing Arm Mounts for Fishfinders & Plotters

This video explains RAM® swing arm mounts for fishfinders and chartplotters, including how the swing arm design helps position marine electronics securely for easier viewing on the water.

What this video covers

This video explains RAM® swing arm mounting systems for fishfinders, chartplotters and similar marine electronics. Swing arm mounts are a heavier duty alternative to ball-and-socket systems when you need a rigid platform with controlled articulation.

It covers horizontal and vertical swing arm options, including single swing arms and dual articulating swing arm setups. The video also explains how the knobs allow the arms and top plate to be adjusted, how the plate can connect to many fishfinder gimbal brackets, and how the arm extensions affect reach and positioning.

The video is especially useful for boat setups where a fishfinder or plotter needs to be positioned clearly, folded away when not in use, or mounted to a vertical surface, flat surface or pole-style location.
