welcome to the ram live recap today i'm going to be talking about our top 10 vehicle mounting solutions join our product experts ashley and rick as they showcase the latest and greatest that RAM® Mounts and gds tech have to offer now let's get started today we're recording outside our warehouses in seattle washington we're going to be competing with a lot of air noise so just bear with us now i'm going to be talking about our most popular products that we have and and by no means are these in any type of order we're just going to start with twist lock suction cup the first product i'm going to talk to you about is our twist lock suction cup base this is a really popular base and the reason it's so popular is because it's so strong this has a twist lock that's really going to create a very strong suction on any non-porous surface you can pair this suction cup with any of our arms or holders as you can see in my vehicle right here i actually use this twist lock suction cup it paired with our x grip for my phone i use it every day it works great if you live in a state that doesn't allow you to attach a mount to your windshield or you just don't want one attached to your windshield then i recommend our portable friction dashboard base this is a friction dashboard base it's weighted and it has a silicone bottom the silicone bottom is what creates the friction along your dashboard it has a non-porous plate right here which pairs perfectly with our twist lock suction cup another great solution for mounting to your dashboard is our ram tough mag this is an incredibly strong magnet and when paired with our metal backing plate creates a really rugged solution but still really low profile and sleek this metal plate has an adhesive backing that you place onto the dash let it cure 24 hours and you have a really great rugged solution for your dashboard the ram tough track is a really great solution if you're looking for a clean drill down mounting solution for your dashboard our tracks have no sharp corners they're top loading so you can easily insert and remove a trackball they also come in a variety of sizes so you can attach multiple devices at once this right here is our aluminum finish we also have it in a matte black finish and we also make it in a composite material here we have our custom jeep track mount that we've created for the jeep jl and jeep gladiator series this will attach to the existing screws that are on the dash and creates a very clean and sleek mounting solution for your dash now if you don't want to mount anything to your dashboard or your windshield i recommend the ram stubby cup this is a weighted base and it sits in your cup holder these little flanges on the side are really going to help secure it into that cup holder because it's going to be in your cup holder it's going to be a little lower near your lap i recommend pairing this with a longer arm this is a really great solution and a very clean low profile option another great mounting solution and a personal favorite of mine is the ram tough wedge this mount wedges in between the seat and the console of your vehicle now you can use this wedge between the passenger seat or the driver's seat we also sell it with an expandable pouch this is really intended for vehicles that have that larger gap in between the console and the seat and that's just going to fill that gap up with air another great feature of the tough wedge is that you can turn it around and it can be used for the passengers in the back seat in this use case we have the long arm attached and simply place this in between the console and the seat and have it turn backwards and that way your passengers in the back can utilize the tablet another great solution for mounting a tablet to the back seat is the torque mount this is the ram torque mount and this will attach to the headrest of your seat and this is a really great solution if you want to attach a tablet for a child that's in a car seat if you want to keep it up and out of the way you don't want it really low and you want everyone to have a really clean sight of the tablet this is a really great solution for you the ram u-bolt base for rear view mirrors is a great alternative to the suction cup for your windshield or the friction mount base for your dash this attaches to any post on a rear view mirror and it's ideal for mounting a camera or a phone or anything like that this is our rampod hd this is a really rugged heavy duty mounting solution and it attaches to the seat bolts on your passenger seat this is ideal for tablets it comes in a variety of pipe lengths and it also comes with this reverse foot that will accommodate any different unique seat bolt patterns the last solution i'm going to show you is our most heavy duty solution and that is our no drill down vehicle based solution this is the vehicle base and it attaches these holes right here attached to the seat bolts of your passenger seat this whole pattern right here is what you're going to attach the telepole and that teleport is what you're going to attach your either tablet or your keyboard to the great thing about this solution is it's custom made for your vehicle so you just go to our website type in the make and model of your vehicle and we will have a custom bracket for your vehicle here's one of the teleports that you would attach to that vehicle base that i just showed you this knob right here allows you to adjust the height of the pole and adjust the swing arm right here you can attach a tablet and a keyboard this is our double swing arm solution this is a really great option if you are using this for a tablet or a laptop you can adjust this to get closer to you to work on and then
