Overview
The RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP40-TCB protects an iPad from everyday wear while routing its USB-C connection to the case’s rear pogo pads. The enclosed design also makes casual removal of the tablet more difficult.
Choose a rear-contact U5 Powered Uni-Conn dock, such as RAM-GDS-DOCK-U5CPU or the locking RAM-GDS-DOCKL-U5CPU. The retention adapter is already part of the case, so no separate U1U or U1AU is needed. Tablet, dock, power supply and mounting components are sold separately.

Compatibility
- Apple iPad 10th generation (2022): A2696, A2757, A2777 and A3162.
- Apple iPad A16 (2025), called iPad 11th Gen by RAM: A3354, A3355 and A3356.
- A2777, A3162 and A3356 are China-market model numbers. This case is not for iPad 9th Gen, iPad Air or iPad Pro.
Charging requires a rear-pogo U5-family Powered Uni-Conn dock. U4 and V12 bottom-contact docks do not provide a charging connection to this case.
For handheld use, add the RAM-GDS-TC-HS2U large hand strap or RAM-GDS-SS1-TCU shoulder strap kit.
