The RAP-B-379U-252025 Tough-Ball consists of a 1" diameter rubber ball, connected to a 1/4"-20 X .25" male threaded post. The male thread accommodates most standard camera and camcorder female threads found on the base of the camera. The thread is also compatible with the female thread found on the 2019 Yamaha FX Series WaveRunner models. Some other Waverunner models require the 0.5" length version. The RAM® Tough-Ball™ simply screws into the WaveRunner’s multi-mount system, attaching to RAM® short arms that can conveniently be adjusted with the twist of a knob.

AustraliaThat thread is very important to me ( waverunner mounting ) and the ACTUAL thread length is around half what the website image shows - the item I recieved JUST catches the thread in the waverunner- JUST.

While the image may have been misleading, we just wanted to clarify that the product description has always specified that the RAP-B-379U-252025 mount comes with a 0.25” thread length, which is the length that suits the 2019 Yamaha Waverunners. If you require a longer thread for your model of Waverunner, we have a 0.5" version available. Just look up the "RAM 1" Tough-Ball with .50" Stud (RAP-B-379U-252050)" We’re sorry for any confusion this caused, and we appreciate you pointing out the issue with the original image.
