The RAM-SM1 Seat-Mate is a folding base for a temporary workstation while safely parked, using a vacant passenger seat. Its adjustable legs brace against the seat, and the installation uses the vehicle seat belt as shown in RAM's instructions.

This is the base only. The ball mount, device holder and device are sold separately. The base provides a 4-hole AMPS mounting interface. Use the supplied fasteners to attach a compatible round ball plate as shown in RAM's assembly instructions.

Compatibility

Seat shape, access beneath the front of the cushion and seat-belt routing must suit the installation. This is not a universal vehicle-fit guarantee.

Follow the official RAM Seat-Mate assembly instructions. Keep the mount clear of airbags, the driver's view and vehicle controls. Do not operate mounted computing equipment while driving.
