The RAM-GDS-CAB-CLAMP2U retains a compatible USB Type-A male to USB Type-A female connection between a GDS dock's power lead and charger. The supplied small cable ties secure the joined cables inside the clamp to help prevent accidental disconnection or tampering.

The two longer cable ties can attach the clamp to the back of a suitable dock, a RAM Tele-Pole or a rail up to 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) in diameter.

Compatibility and use

This is the USB-A clamp used with the RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V7B1U charger and compatible USB-A dock leads, including the RAM-HOL-SAM84CP-1U. It is also an included component of the RAM-B-101-225B2-SAM84-V7B1U dashboard kit.

Cables, charger, dock and mounting equipment are not included. This is a mechanical cable-retention accessory. It does not convert voltage, provide a charging connector or make a USB connection waterproof. Confirm the connector housings fit before installation.
