hi everyone this is Rick with RAM® Mounts and today we're going to take a look at the RAM Pod one universal vehicle mounting system this is made up of several parts total but if you look on the base portion this has a slotted foot base made of steel that can conform and adapts to the passenger side seat bolt of your vehicle and then coming off this base is an 18in long Flex aluminum rod with a plastic coating over it this Rod can be bent to the desired position but it's still a very rigid Rod it's difficult to bend by hand for bending to the right position we usually recommend bending over a knee or over any stable desktop or tabletop surface and you'll want this to be bent to conform most likely to the center console of your vehicle so it's well braced and then coming off the top is the b-size ball and socket Mount where you can simply loosen the knob on the side here to position the angle and direction of the flat plate that's at the top and then this flat plate contains the industry standard Four Hole amps hole pattern so this can connect to the back of any universal or form fitting Ram crate or any other device that lines up with the holes and so you can put any handheld device coming off the top of this mounting system for mounting into your vehicle
