C-Size Components have (or take) a 1.5" diameter ball, which RAM Mounts officially say is recommended for holding devices up to 4 pounds (approximately 1.8kg). The C-size ball system is most commonly used in warehousing, logistics, and materials handling for supporting larger tablets, laptops, and screens. Whilst the larger ball size also handles more weight, it also reduces vibration further than smaller ball sizes.
