OVERVIEW

The RAM® EZ-Roll'r™ USB-C Powered Mount for Samsung Tab Active5 & 3 (RAM-101-225B2-SAM60CP-V7CU) is a complete powered drill-down tablet mounting system designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5, Tab Active3 and Tab Active2.

The form-fit RAM^® EZ-Roll'r^™ dock provides power through the tablet's pogo-pin interface while allowing the device to be quickly inserted and removed. The dock can be positioned for portrait or landscape use and remains compatible with the Samsung OEM skin and RAM^® Skin^™.

The mounting hardware uses the RAM^® C Size 1.5" ball and socket system and includes a short double socket arm, round ball bases and a 2.10" x 2.60" steel backing plate for a secure drill-down installation. The included GDS^® Modular hardwire charger connects directly to a 10-30VDC vehicle power source.

Important: This mount powers the tablet through its pogo-pin connection. It does not support Samsung's "No Battery Mode" because that function requires direct access to the tablet's USB-C port.

Will this mount support No Battery Mode on the Samsung Tab Active5?
No. Samsung's No Battery Mode requires direct access to the tablet's USB-C port. This dock blocks the USB-C port and instead supplies power through the tablet's side pogo-pin connection, so No Battery Mode is not supported while the tablet is installed in this mount.

Can the tablet be used in portrait and landscape orientation?
Yes. The RAM® ball and socket system allows the tablet to be positioned and rotated to suit portrait or landscape operation.

Can I use the Samsung factory protective skin?
Yes. The dock is compatible with the Samsung OEM skin as well as the RAM® Skin™.

Does this kit include the vehicle mounting hardware?
Yes. This is a complete drill-down mounting kit and includes the powered tablet dock, C Size mounting system, steel backing plate, assembly hardware and GDS® Modular hardwire charger.

Charging issue?
Inspect and clean the tablet's pogo contact pads before replacing dock or charging components. RAM® provides a pogo-pad cleaning guide above for maintenance guidance.
