Introducing the RAM-343-PU. This round steel adhesive plate is an ideal solution for enabling any RAM^® magnetic base, eliminating the need to drill into a vehicle’s dash or other flat surfaces. Featuring adhesive that attaches to most flat surfaces, the round steel plate can be paired with a variety of compatible magnetic bases for a secure hold. From there, choose a RAM^® magnetic base kit or a compatible arm and device cradle to complete your mounting solution.

Will this work on textured dash material?
Yes, this should work on most dashboards. It is designed to work on a variety of different dashboards, both with and without texture, as long as you have a relatively flat area for mounting.

Is this an exterior product? Can I mount it on my fiberglass vehicle roof and will it hold up to UV exposure?
This can be mounted to a vehicle’s dash or other flat surfaces. UV exposure may cause the adhesive to become loose.

What is the actual outside diameter of the plate adapter and what is the adhesive?
The outer diameter is 67 mm or 2.638". The adhesive is by 3M, using a VHB PSA pad.
