This video provides a step-by-step guide on how to assemble the RAM® Tab-Lock™ tablet mount.
Key Assembly Steps:
• Verify Hardware: Ensure you have all the required screws and nuts before starting.
• Ball Adapter: Align and attach the ball adapter to the Tab-Lock™ body using the provided screws.
• Nut Placement: Place the smaller nuts into the designated pockets on the back of the device using a pen for guidance. Use a ruler to hold them in place while you secure them with M4 screws.
• End Cups: Attach the top and bottom end cups to the device body using the ten small screws provided.
• Top Slide Installation: Insert the larger nuts into the top slide, release the inner spine using the key lock, and install the top slide into the main body.
• Securing the Slide: Connect the #6 screws from behind to secure the slide, but do not fully tighten them yet.
• Calibration: Insert your tablet into the mount to determine the correct fitment, note the reference number on the back, remove the tablet, and tighten the #6 screws at that specific setting.
• Final Assembly: Install the front cover, secure it using the remaining #6 screws, and repeat the process to ensure the locking lever is accessible.
