today we're going to take a look at the ram b-size standard length double socket arm this arm is made up of marine grade aluminum materials has an overall length of 3.73 inches and a socket to socket length of 3 inches so that gives an idea of how much of an extension this will provide when you have the stock arm clamped onto any ram b size ball and socket components the socket arm has a spring offset to one side with no spring on the other side and this allows for extra tension when clamped to one end while making it easy to adjust the position of the ball components on the opposite end and also makes it easier for expanding the socket arms out when you're making your adjustments while the standard or also medium length arm is the most common application there are also other two other size variations you have the short double socket arm which has a socket to socket length of 1.75 inches and you have the longer arm extension that extends out socket to socket length of 5.31 inches so you have different extensions to choose from depending on what is best suited for your application
