RAM-235U
The RAM-235U consists of a double U-Bolt base with 1.5" diameter ball (C Size) and two stainless steel U-Bolts.
The double U-Bolt base will accommodate rails from 1" to 1.25" in diameter (1.9cm - 3.18cm).
Note: The "U" in the part number reflects product packaged in poly bag. This mount includes stainless steel u-bolts for preventing rust of the mount and black cover caps to be placed over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

Australia Australia Australia Australia AustraliaHey, it works, but u bolts? Agricultural appearance, score zero for aesthetics. Let’s stick a rubber cap on ( that will fall off pretty quickly) to pretrr we no it’s neat. After all who doesn’t like getting scrawny a protruding bolt thread?
Hi Colin, The rubber caps should stay on quite well, but if you need it stuck down further just bit of glue should help, and they'll then permanently stay covered for aesthetic purposes. The reason they are not glued on arrival allows for easier replacement of the part should you need to upgrade to a larger sized U-Bolt in future (should you move to a larger rail size).
