This no-drill vehicle floor mount accepts a compatible device holder, sold separately. RAM specifies a capacity of 4 lb (1.81 kg) for standard use or 3 lb (1.36 kg) for heavy-duty use for this C Size kit. Check your device and case, holder connection, vehicle installation and intended use before choosing the mount.

It consists of the RAM POD III No-Drill™ vehicle base, three rigid aluminium rod legs, a double socket arm and two 2.5" round bases that contain the universal AMPS hole pattern. The base of the mount connects to your seat rail without any drilling, and the rigid aluminium rod legs can be bent to any position/angle.

The mount uses a 1.5-inch C Size ball-and-socket system, adjustable at both ends of the arm. The supplied upper round plate accepts compatible flat-backed holders with a matching 4-hole AMPS pattern (30 x 38 mm) or 3-hole 120-degree pattern (46 mm diameter). A holder with an integrated B Size ball will not fit the C Size arm directly. The RAM-234-3 and RAM-234-6 are holder options to assess for the actual device and load; they are not included.
