The RAP-S-KNOBGU replaces a compatible marine-electronics gimbal knob to add tamper resistance. It can be used on a suitable factory gimbal bracket, whether or not the bracket sits on a RAM mount. Use the supplied key to tighten or release it.

RAM excludes Garmin ECHOMAP 93sv. Compatibility with the ECHOMAP Plus 93sv generation has not been verified; confirm exact model fit before ordering. Check the equipment's thread, required engagement length and available clearance before fitting. The included washers let you adjust the exposed thread length.

Follow the socket arm's own tightening instructions. RAM recommends the Hi-Torq wrench for additional tightening of compatible D Size arm knobs; the gimbal knob uses its supplied Pin-Lock key.
