Overview

The RAM® IntelliSkin® for Honeywell CT37 (RAM-GDS-SKIN-HON14-C) is a protective sleeve made of soft, shock-absorbing rubber and custom fitted specifically for the Honeywell CT37 handheld computer.

Featuring GDS^® Technology^™, the IntelliSkin^® contains an integrated connector that plugs into the CT37 USB-C port. This converts the device connection into flat external docking contacts, allowing the CT37 to connect with compatible GDS^® powered docks for charging and data transfer.

The flat docking contacts help reduce wear on the Honeywell CT37 charging port by eliminating the need to repeatedly connect and disconnect a conventional USB cable. Their flat design also makes accumulated dirt and debris easier to clean away, helping maintain a reliable connection in industrial and commercial environments.

An external USB Type-C port remains available at the bottom of the IntelliSkin^®, allowing the CT37 to be plugged in when a GDS^® Dock^™ is not available. The included optional belt clip allows the device to be carried at the hip for quick access while working.

This product includes the IntelliSkin and optional belt clip only. The Honeywell CT37, powered dock and other GDS^® accessories are sold separately. The matching powered locking vehicle dock is RAM-GDS-DOCKL-V15-CU.

Does this IntelliSkin fit any device other than the Honeywell CT37?
No. The RAM-GDS-SKIN-HON14-C is custom fitted specifically for the Honeywell CT37 and should not be treated as a universal case.

Is the Honeywell CT37 included?
No. This product includes the IntelliSkin protective sleeve and optional belt clip only. The Honeywell CT37 is sold separately.

Is a powered dock included?
No. Compatible GDS powered docks are sold separately. The matching powered locking vehicle dock is RAM-GDS-DOCKL-V15-CU.

Can I charge the CT37 without placing it in a GDS dock?
Yes. The IntelliSkin includes an external USB Type-C port, allowing the CT37 to be connected when a compatible GDS dock is not available.

Does the IntelliSkin support data transfer?
Yes. RAM lists data transfer speeds of up to USB 3.1 at 5Gbps through the D-shape docking contacts and up to USB 2.0 at 480Mbps through the external USB-C port.

Why use an IntelliSkin instead of repeatedly connecting a USB-C cable?
The integrated connector converts the CT37 USB-C connection into flat external docking contacts. This helps reduce wear on the device charging port from repeated plugging and unplugging.

Is a belt clip included?
Yes. An optional belt clip is included, and the IntelliSkin features a built-in metal adapter for attaching it.

Can other carrying accessories be attached?
Yes. RAM lists compatibility with selected GDS Ergo accessories, including hand strap, shoulder strap and belt clip lever options. These accessories are sold separately.
