What is RFID Blocking?

• RFID (Radio-Frequency identification) This is important to know because most cards now are RFID Credit cards. An RFID credit card has radio frequency identification technology to read your card instead of the old school magnetic strip. This allows you the convenience of using a payment terminal without having to swipe or insert your card into a machine i.e.: waving your card near the machine to make a payment. While it is easy and convenient to use, it can also be easy for a would-be thieve to wave their reader near your credit cards and potentially steal your data just as easily as you bought that 30 pack of Coors Light at the grocery store. When your cards are inside the ROKFORM wallet, the aluminum and steel block readers, making your cards and data safe from would-be thieves.

How do I know if my credit card has an RFID Chip

• If your credit card has an RFID chip it will have a small WIFI symbol on the front or the back indicating that there is an RDIF chip to allow for contactless payment.

Does the wallet have a magnet in it?

• No, the wallet has an integrated steel insert allowing it to be magnetic. This allows you to get it off the counter or desk and have it exactly where you can find it again. No more lost wallets.

Will it harm my credit cards?

• No. It is made of aluminum and steel, neither have any effect on your credit cards. Using it to mount magnetically is also completely safe and will not harm your credit cards.

Is it hard to get my cards in and out?

• We designed this wallet with 2 features to help you with getting cards in and out. There is a thumb slot to fan the cards up and pick one or all to remove. For putting them back in, we put a large chamfer to help guide the cards into the wallet, it will even feed in a stack of cards with ease.

Is the money clip tight enough to hold a single bill?

• Yes. The strong spring steel money clip with easily hold even a single bill.

Can I remove the money clip?

• Yes, the included wrench allows you to disassemble the wallet to remove the money clip.

What secures the cards?

• Strong elastic bands on both sides and one on the bottom keeps your cards in place.

Does the wallet set off metal detectors?

• Yes. It is made out of aluminium and steel which are both metal so if the metal detector is doing its job, this wallet will set them off.

Can you put cash in the wallet without the money clip?

• Since the wallet pinches the cards, it will pinch anything you put in it. You can easily stuff some bills in with your cards and they will be secure.

Any issues with TSA at the airport?

• No more than any other wallet. You must remove it from your pocket and put it through the screener.

Does it scratch easily if I put it in the same pocket as my keys?

• The tough anodize coating on the aluminum is scratch resistant but not scratch-proof. Deep sharp gouges and abrasions can scratch the wallet but won’t diminish its integrity in any way.
