The RAM-117SWU features the popular RAM ROD® 2000 rod cradle, a RAM® double socket arm and a 2.5" diameter round base utilising the universal AMPS hole pattern.
Offering the patented RAM rubber ball, socket and ratcheting feature, you can rotate the RAM-117SWU rod holder 360 degrees while tilting the cradle forward and back for the optimum angle.

AustraliaGreat adjustability and solidness of mounting. I find the rod a little harder to place and remove than anticipated, but with practice it’s getting quicker. I think it’s worth it for the guarantee that your rod isn’t going to go flying away. I bought an extra ball socket for other side of the boat so that I can shift it to other side depending on e we ind/ currents/ drifts which had worked out really well. No issues for me with the strength of the mount, I’ve had big snapper peel line of my reel while in this mount and it held firm.
